Contract Expiry Calculator

Find the exact date a contract expires from its start date and term length in days, weeks, months, or years.

Next step: Contract End Date Calculator

How it works

Enter the contract start date and term length. Days and weeks add calendar days; months and years use calendar-month math on the UTC calendar (with end-of-month clamping when needed, for example January 31 plus one month becomes February 28 or 29)—the same engine behind the Contract End Date Calculator.

The expiry date is the term length added forward from the start date. This calculator does not model auto-renewal, notice periods, or business-day adjustments—use the Contract Renewal Calculator if your agreement requires advance notice before it expires or auto-renews.

FAQ

How do I find when a contract expires?
Enter the contract start date, the term length, and the unit (days, weeks, months, or years). The calculator adds that term forward from the start date and shows the exact expiry date.
How is this different from the Contract End Date Calculator?
Same underlying date math, presented for the "expiry date" framing some contracts, licenses, and subscriptions use instead of "end date." The Contract End Date Calculator also shows 30/60/90-day renewal reminder dates.
Does this account for auto-renewal?
No. This calculator only computes the expiry date from a fixed term. If your contract auto-renews unless you give notice, use the Contract Renewal Calculator to find that notice deadline.
