How it works

Enter a target date. The calculator compares it to today’s UTC calendar date (time of day is ignored).

Days remaining use the same signed calendar-day math as Days Between Dates: the difference between today and the target at UTC midnight. When “Include today” is off, that difference is the day count. When it is on, one day is added for future dates so today counts as the first day toward the target.

Weeks remaining are whole weeks (floor of days ÷ 7). Months remaining are approximate calendar months and days between the dates, using the same age-style breakdown as the Age Calculator—not fixed 30-day months.

FAQ

How many days until a date?
Choose your target date. The result is the number of full UTC calendar days from today to that date. Turn on “Include today” if you want today to count as day one of the wait.
Does the calculator include today?
By default, no—the count is the calendar-day difference only (same as Days Between Dates from today to the target). Enable “Include today” to add one day for future targets so the current UTC date is counted.
Can I calculate past dates?
Yes. Enter any date before today and the tool shows how many calendar days ago it was, with approximate months for context.
