Good Friday is the Friday before Easter Sunday on the Gregorian calendar—exactly two UTC calendar days before Western Easter. This page uses the same Easter computus as the Days Until Easter Calculator and the dynamic Days Until Good Friday event page, then derives Good Friday as Easter minus two days.

If today's UTC date is before this year's Good Friday, the counter targets that Friday. If today is Good Friday, the page reports that Good Friday is today. If Good Friday has already passed, the target moves to Good Friday in the following year.

Day counts use UTC calendar days only. Weeks are whole weeks (days ÷ 7, rounded down). Months are approximate calendar months and days. Optional “Include today” adds one day for future dates.
