Retirement Date Calculator
Find the exact date you reach a target retirement age from your date of birth, plus your current age and time remaining until retirement.
Enter your date of birth.
Next step: Employment Duration Calculator
How it works
Enter your date of birth and a target retirement age. The calculator adds that many years to your birth date using the same month-math engine used elsewhere on DateToolsHQ, which clamps end-of-month dates correctly—including leap-day (February 29) birthdays in non-leap years.
Current age and time remaining until retirement use the same calendar age engine as the Age Calculator, so figures stay consistent with that calculator.
If the calculated retirement date is already in the past, the calculator reports how long ago you reached that age instead of a countdown.
Common uses

Pension planning
Find the exact date you reach a pension or social security eligibility age.
Retirement countdown
